Job summary

J&T Express in Jakarta seeks an Audit Associate to conduct operational and compliance audits across our logistics network. You will evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and governance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 1–3 years of auditing experience, and can work with Mandarin (HSK 4 level preferred). Travel to warehouses and hubs is required; overtime may be needed.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate to join our team. This role will be responsible for conducting operational and compliance audits across our logistics operations, identifying potential risks, evaluating internal controls, and providing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1–3 years of experience in auditing and a strong understanding of internal control and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and compliance audits across logistics activities, including warehouse management, fleet operations, delivery routing, and inventory control.
• Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and evaluate their implementation to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Collect, analyze, and document audit data and supporting evidence to identify potential risks, control weaknesses, and procedural non-compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and provide practical recommendations for process improvements to relevant department heads.
• Monitor and follow up on audit action plans to ensure timely and effective implementation.
• Support investigative audits related to potential fraud, operational inefficiencies, or SOP violations.
• Collaborate with operational, finance, and management teams throughout the audit process.
• Maintain confidentiality, independence, integrity, and objectivity in all audit activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Mandarin speaking ability is preferred. Minimum conversational or at least HSK 4 equivalent.
• Experience in the logistics, warehousing, or transportation industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, and standard audit methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel for business trips to warehouses, hubs, and branch offices.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
