Job summary

PT Global Yimi Cargo (J&T Cargo) in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage daily AP transactions, review invoices, and ensure timely settlements while upholding internal controls.

The role requires 3–5 years in AP or general accounting, strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Kingdee), and proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus. You will support month-end closings and contribute to cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and internal control procedures.
• Proficient in English (both verbal and written); Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel; PowerPoint skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process daily Accounts Payable (AP) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and verify invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor, review, and control operational costs and expenses in accordance with approved budgets.
• Maintain and reconcile AP records and related General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Monitor outstanding payables and payment schedules to ensure timely settlement.
• Perform cost analysis, monitor budget variances, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Assist in monthly accruals, month-end closing activities, and the preparation of AP and financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure AP transactions comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
• Identify discrepancies and process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to strengthen AP operations.
