Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is seeking a Local Marketing & Business Development Manager to expand our B2B presence in Indonesia across essential oils, natural ingredients, food ingredients, flavours and fragrances.

The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing relationships with Indonesian FMCG manufacturers, and pursuing product development opportunities to meet sales targets. Candidates should have strong networks or the ability to build them across the Indonesian industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of B2B sales/marketing/business development experience in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B customers across Indonesia.
• Build business with FMCG, food & beverage, bakery, confectionery, pharmaceutical, personal-care, cosmetics, home-care and fragrance companies.
• Develop opportunities for essential oils, natural ingredients, food ingredients, flavours and fragrance materials.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presentations and product discussions.
• Convert leads into trials, quotations, purchase orders and long-term contracts.
• Maintain and continuously expand a strong network within Indonesian FMCG and manufacturing companies.
• Establish relationships with Procurement, R&D, Product Development, Quality, Production, Marketing and Management teams.
• Identify upcoming product launches, reformulations and ingredient requirements.
• Introduce company products to relevant decision-makers and influencers.
