Job summary

Manulife John Hancock is seeking an In-Force Management Lead in Jakarta to develop and execute strategies that maximize portfolio value, policy persistency, and premium conservation. You will partner with Actuarial, Distribution, Product, Risk, Claims, and Finance teams to monitor performance and drive profitable growth.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, assess product performance, and guide retention and claims strategies to enhance customer value while maintaining compliance and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Life Insurance with exposure to In-Force Management, Product Pricing, Actuarial Valuation, Business Strategy, Portfolio Management, Bancassurance or Distribution Management.
• Strong understanding of policyholder lifecycle and portfolio profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of in-force management strategies to maximize portfolio value and profitability.
• Monitor portfolio performance across persistency, premium collection, reinstatement, claims experience, and customer lifetime value.
• Support risk management through monitoring lapse/persistency and claims experience indicators.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve claims performance and persistency while maintaining customer-centric outcomes.
• Partner with Product Pricing and Actuarial teams to assess in-force performance and work with Distribution and Risk teams on monitoring and mitigation.
• Support long-term strategic planning for in-force business growth.
• Represent the in-force management function in strategic discussions.
