Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Jakarta, Indonesia seeks an In-Force Management Lead to develop and execute strategies that maximize portfolio value through persistency, premium conservation, and claims monitoring. You will partner with Actuarial, Distribution, Product, Risk, Claims, and Finance to monitor portfolio performance and drive initiatives for sustainable growth.

Preferred candidates have a strong grasp of life insurance fundamentals, policyholder lifecycle, and profitability drivers, with 7+

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Life Insurance, with exposure to In-Force Management, Product Pricing, Actuarial Valuation, Business Strategy, Portfolio Management, Bancassurance or Distribution Management.
Strong understanding of Life Insurance business fundamentals, products, policyholder lifecycle and portfolio profitability.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of in-force management strategies to maximize portfolio value and profitability.
Monitor portfolio performance across key indicators including persistency, premium collection, reinstatement, claims experience, and customer lifetime value.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the in-force portfolio and provide actionable recommendations to improve claims performance and persistency.
