PT UMAX HUB INDONESIA is seeking a skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to handle and submit clearance documentation through INSW and CEISA, ensuring end-to-end compliance with Indonesian regulations.
You will prepare PIB/PEB, invoices and packing lists, ensure HS code accuracy, calculate duties and import taxes, and coordinate with PPJK, EMKL, and freight forwarders to streamline flows and deadlines.
Handle and submit customs clearance documentation (e.g., PIB, invoice, packing list, COO, bill of lading) through INSW and CEISA systems
Ensure end to end custom compliance with Indonesia regulations
Prepare, review, and ensure the completeness of customs documentation (Import Declaration/PIB, Export Declaration/PEB, Invoice, Packing List, etc.)
Ensure accurate HS Code classification and calculate applicable duties, VAT (PPN), and import taxes (Pph).
Coordinate with PPJK (Perusahaan Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan), shipping lines, EMKL, and freight forwarders to arrange document flow and physical clearance
Track and report on clearance timelines regulatory updates
Proactively follow up on customs holds, red line inspections, and quarantine/BPOM processes if applicable
Stay updated with changing customs regulations, import bans/restrictions, and Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) policies
Ensure timely submission and archiving of BC documents (BC2.0, BC2.3, BC2.5, etc.) and LARTAS compliance
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Customs Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance within Indonesia
Proven experience managing PIB documents, HS code validation, and coordinating with customs officials
Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team
Certification from DJBC/PPJK training is highly preferred (e.g., Sertifikasi Kepabeanan Tingkat Dasar or Ahli Kepabeanan)
Strong knowledge for import & export licenses
Knowledge of LARTAS (Larangan dan Pembatasan), HS CODE, BPOM, Karantina, MoT import permit processes and product classification
Familiarity with the INSW, CEISA, PIB, and PEB systems
Background in FMCG, electronics, furniture, or general import commodities is a plus
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is preferred
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
Able to work quickly, responsively, and accurately
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
