Job summary

YCAB Foundation is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own results, drive program quality, and deliver transformational community impact across multiple projects. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and foster partnerships while leveraging MEL to improve decisions.

You will mentor staff, elevate organizational standards, and build robust systems to support YCAB’s scalable social impact. This role focuses on strategic execution and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Management, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in program/project management.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience managing programs/projects and teams.
• Experience working with implementation partners, donors/funders, government, consultants, or other external stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the full project cycle: needs assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of results-based management, KPI/indicators, data collection, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple programs/projects across their full life cycle.
• Plan programs/projects based on YCAB's priorities, needs, evidence, and resources.
• Translate objectives into results frameworks, theories of change, and indicators.
• Develop implementation plans, budgets, risk registers, and governance mechanisms.
• Ensure alignment with objectives, scope, timeline, budget, and donor requirements.
• Coordinate implementation across functions, partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop corrective actions.
• Lead regular project reviews and closure activities with reporting and learning.
