Job summary

World Resources Institute Indonesia is hiring a Consultant as Project Implementation Assistant for the Cities Program in Jakarta. The role blends admin, coordination, and stakeholder engagement to support the Indonesia Super Pollutant Unit, with travel as required and a six-month initial contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, environmental science, public policy, international development, social sciences, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in project administration, program coordination, project support, or a related field.
• Familiarity with climate change, air quality, environmental policy, or super pollutant issues is an advantage.
• Experience supporting donor-funded programs, multi-stakeholder initiatives, or projects involving government institutions and development partners is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to provide administrative and coordination support, maintain systematic documentation, and track activity progress and follow-up actions.
• Strong writing and information synthesis skills, with the ability to prepare clear and well-structured meeting minutes, briefing notes, presentations, progress updates, and other program documents.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Legally authorized to work in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Project Implementation Support: provide administrative and operational support under the SLCP Technical Unit Senior Lead.
• Maintain project work plans, activity trackers, deliverable records, and other documentation.
• Prepare terms of reference, briefing notes, presentations, progress updates, and materials as required.
• Consolidate program updates, technical inputs, and summaries for reporting.
• Maintain an organized repository of program documents and meetings.
• Track progress against the annual work plan and flag delays or risks.
• Prepare periodic CCAC-compliant reports under guidance.
