Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Manager to oversee spare parts, inventory, asset lifecycle, and hardware replacement across large-scale data center environments. You will partner with operations, logistics, OEMs, and service teams to ensure timely hardware availability, optimize stock levels, and maintain accurate CMDB records.

The role offers exposure to AI, HPC, and cloud contexts with opportunities to grow into broader data center operations and global service leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, spare parts operations, asset management, or logistics within technology-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of data center hardware infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and GPU platforms.
• Experience managing hardware replacement programs, warranties, vendor relationships, and OEM partnerships.
• Familiarity with Asset Management, CMDB, and IT Service Management (ITIL) practices.
• Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of data center inventory and spare parts programs, ensuring critical hardware availability to support operational continuity and service commitments.
• Drive inventory planning and optimization strategies, leveraging consumption trends and demand forecasts to maintain appropriate stock levels across multiple locations.
• Manage hardware replacement and warranty processes, partnering with vendors and OEMs to coordinate timely resolutions and minimize operational risk.
• Oversee asset lifecycle governance, maintaining accurate asset, inventory, and configuration records across enterprise asset management and CMDB platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and supply chain partners to ensure efficient movement, tracking, and delivery of hardware assets and components.
• Provide operational insights and reporting on inventory health, asset utilization, replacement activities, and service performance while supporting audit and compliance requirements.
