Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Manager to oversee spare parts, inventory, asset lifecycle, and hardware replacement across large-scale data center environments. You will partner with operations, logistics, OEMs, and service teams to ensure timely hardware availability, optimize stock levels, and maintain accurate CMDB records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, spare parts operations, asset management, or logistics within technology-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of data center hardware infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and GPU platforms.
• Experience managing hardware replacement programs, warranties, vendor relationships, and OEM partnerships.
• Familiarity with Asset Management, CMDB, and IT Service Management (ITIL) practices.
• Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and supply chain partners to ensure efficient movement, tracking, and delivery of hardware assets and components.
• Provide operational insights and reporting on inventory health, asset utilization, replacement activities, and service performance while supporting audit and compliance requirements.

The Role

Your Role We are seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Data Center Inventory & Asset Manager to oversee the spare parts, inventory, asset lifecycle, and hardware replacement operations supporting large-scale data center environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability of critical infrastructure components, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating hardware replacements and vendor engagements, and maintaining accurate asset records across multiple locations. You will work closely with data center operations teams, logistics providers, OEM partners, and service management stakeholders to ensure timely hardware availability and operational continuity. Preferred Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations, hardware support, inventory management, supply chain, or related functions.
• Experience supporting AI, High Performance Computing (HPC), cloud, or large-scale data center environments.
• Hands‑on experience working with major infrastructure vendors such as NVIDIA, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, or Supermicro.
• Exposure to global logistics, international shipping, and inventory governance processes.
• Experience supporting asset lifecycle management, compliance, and audit requirements.
