Job summary

PT Good Rupa group in Bali is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at our Uluwatu site. This strategic role focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining talent while ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations and fostering a positive workplace in our hospitality operations.

You will oversee recruitment, payroll, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and HR data integrity, partnering with department heads to align HR

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in human resources management, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with values and legal requirements.
• Oversee performance management, appraisals, objectives, and employee development.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation in accordance with regulations and company policy.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, contracts, and health and safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance skills across departments.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Foster positive workplace culture and lead employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and support business objectives.
• Monitor HR metrics and report to management.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Uluwatu, Bali. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and contributing to the overall success of PT Good Rupa group. As Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent whilst ensuring compliance with employment regulations and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with company values and legal requirements
• Oversee employee performance management, including conducting appraisals, setting objectives, and supporting professional development
• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes
• Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation packages in accordance with local regulations and company policies
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, employment contracts, and health and safety regulations
• Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and competencies across all departments
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation whilst ensuring data confidentiality
• Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and events
• Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and support business objectives
• Monitor and report on HR metrics and key performance indicators to management

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and employment regulations
• Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with payroll administration and benefits management
• Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional language skills are advantageous
• A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals
• Previous experience working in Bali or within the local hospitality sector is highly desirable
• Ready to deploy in ULUWATU area
