Job summary

Sailglobal in Malang, Indonesia seeks an HR Generalist who can communicate in Mandarin. The role covers recruitment, HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and compliance with Indonesian labor laws. You will maintain HRIS data and prepare routine HR reports, supporting daily HR activities with accuracy.

Req: Bachelor in HR/Management/Psychology, 2–3 years HR experience, fluent Indonesian and basic Mandarin/English, and knowledge of BPJS/THR/PPh 21 is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an HR Generalist who can communicate in Mandarin (placement in Malang). If you have a background in Human Resources, enjoy working with people, and are comfortable handling both recruitment and HR operations, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Post job vacancies on relevant recruitment platforms, including the Siap Kerja platform.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.

2. HR Operations & Administration

• Maintain employee records, employment contracts, attendance, and other HR documentation.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support payroll-related administration, including BPJS, THR, and PPh 21 documentation and coordination.

3. Employee Relations & Compliance

• Handle daily employee inquiries and support employee relations matters.
• Ensure HR processes comply with Indonesian labor laws and company policies.
• Assist with customs-related coordination and liaison when required.

4. HR Reporting & Systems

• Maintain accurate employee data and HR records.
• Prepare HR reports and administrative documentation.
• Utilize HRIS and Microsoft Office applications to support daily HR activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or general HR administration.
• Good communication skills in Indonesian, with basic Mandarin and English proficiency.
• Familiarity with Indonesian labor regulations, BPJS, THR, and PPh 21.
• Experience handling end-to-end recruitment and general HR operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HRIS platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in customs liaison or coordination is an advantage.
