Job summary

Shopee Medan is seeking a dedicated HSE professional to develop and implement safety plans for our warehouse operations. You will conduct hazard assessments, safety observations, and inspections to ensure compliance with strategic safety goals.

You will lead HSE training, maintain emergency readiness, and document daily activities while coordinating with stakeholders to resolve safety concerns and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Engineering or Industrial Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of HSE experience in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 required/preferred.
• Experience in HSE program execution and understanding of HSE legal requirements.
• Environmental management experience is a plus.
• AK3U certification preferred; English proficiency mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develops regular HSE operational plans aligned with strategies from HSE Project Lead and ensures effective execution.
• Implements HSE programs and policies at warehouse level, conducting hazard assessments, safety observations, and regular inspections.
• Evaluates operational safety through audits, inspections, and daily monitoring, ensuring adherence to approved strategies.
• Delivers HSE training at warehouse level to ensure workers are informed and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintains emergency readiness, conducts equipment inspections, updates plans, and trains emergency response teams.
• Maintains documentation of daily HSE activities, hazard reports, and training sessions for accessibility and compliance.
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational safety concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary.
