Job summary

Shopee Indonesia is seeking a skilled HSE Specialist to lead safety programs at our Jakarta warehouse. You will plan and execute health, safety, and environmental initiatives, conduct hazard assessments, and drive compliance with ISO 45001/14001/9001 across operations.

Responsibilities include training, emergency readiness, audits, and stakeholder coordination to maintain a safe, compliant workplace. Minimum 3 years in HSE and AK3U preferred; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Understanding of Integrated Management Systems: ISO 45001, 14001, 9001.
• Experience in HSE program execution and knowledge of HSE legal requirements.
• Environmental management experience is an advantage.
• AK3U certification preferred; English proficiency is required.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop regular HSE operational plans aligned with strategies from HSE Project Lead and ensure effective execution.
• Implement HSE programs and policies at the warehouse level, conducting hazard assessments, safety observations, and regular inspections.
• Evaluate operational safety through audits, inspections, and daily monitoring, ensuring adherence to approved strategies.
• Deliver HSE training at the warehouse level, ensuring workers are informed and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain emergency readiness, conducting equipment inspections, updating plans, and training emergency response teams.
• Maintain documentation of daily HSE activities, hazard reports, and training sessions to ensure accessibility and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational safety concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary.
