Job summary

Kanara is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth employee services. You will drive process improvement, system optimization, and compliance across the employee lifecycle in a fast-growing consumer goods company in Indonesia.

You will own HRIS administration, payroll processes, and policy governance while shaping an enhanced employee experience. Collaboration with stakeholders and data-driven decision making are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, Psychology, or related field.
• 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in HR/People Operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, HRIS, employee lifecycle, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Ensure accurate payroll, BPJS, tax, contracts, and statutory administration.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR documentation.
• Ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant with regulations.
• Own HRIS administration and continuously improve system utilization.
• Standardize HR workflows, SOPs, and service levels.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify manual processes.
• Lead HR digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
• Improve onboarding and employee experience and monitor HR service SLAs.
• Provide HR analytics and reporting to support business decisions.

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our HR operations as Kanara continues to grow. You will own day-to-day People Operations, ensure smooth employee services, and drive process, system, and operational improvements across the employee lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in HR/People Operations.
• Strong experience in payroll, HRIS, employee lifecycle, and statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations, BPJS, and tax administration.
• Experience in HR process improvement, SOP development, or HR transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organization.

What You’ll Do

HR Operations & Compliance

Employee Experience

• Ensure responsive and high-quality HR services for employees.
• Manage HR inquiries and requests within agreed SLAs.
• Continuously improve the onboarding and overall employee experience.
• Monitor employee satisfaction with HR services.
• Oversee operational administration of salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, allowances, and benefits.
• Coordinate annual compensation and benefits processes.
• Support compensation benchmarking and provide relevant market insights.

HR Analytics & Reporting

• Build and maintain HR operational dashboards and reports.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide accurate insights to support business and people decisions.
