Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals is seeking an HR Officer to oversee the hospital’s HR operations, ensuring alignment with group standards and local labor regulations.

The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, HRIS data integrity, and engagement activities in collaboration with the Head of HR. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in related field (psychology / HRM / law) and understanding of HR principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills for handling multiple HR tasks and records.
  • Understanding of recruitment, performance management and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational HR aspects in line with Group HR standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Handle recruitment, contracts, onboarding, payroll processing and employee relations.
  • Maintain HRIS staff data, ensure accuracy of records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support scheduling interviews, background checks, documentation, contracting and onboarding.

Job description

  • Responsible for operational aspects of the Hospital's human resources department in accordance with established Group HR standards, policies, procedures and regulations and applicable accreditation requirements.
  • Work on all operational aspects of the Hospital's human resources department (including recruitment processes, staff contracts & onboarding, payroll processing, employee relations, etc.) in accordance with established Group HR standards, policies, procedures, as well as applicable labor regulations.
  • Manage the maintenance of staff data and records in the HRIS database and ensure that all records (including employment forms, licenses, certifications) are accurate and up to date (and work with affected staff to resolve any discrepancies).
  • Support recruiting backend and administrative support such as scheduling interviews, background checks, bid documentation, contracting and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation and summary reports and ensure that all payroll data is processed in a timely and accurate manner before sending reports to the Head Office HR team as well as the Hospital Finance team.
  • Work closely with the Head of HR to plan and execute staff engagement ideas/activities throughout the hospital (e.g., bonding events, themed office days, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree from any related major (preferably in psychology/ human resource management/ law)
  • Have minimum 1-2 years work experience in the same position.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and coordinate various HR activities
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Understanding of HR best practices and principles, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
