Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group in Makassar seeks a Sterilization Support staff to prepare and document sterilization of equipment, and to organize sterilized items for the Operating Theatre. The role requires attention to detail and compliance with infection control standards in a busy hospital setting.

With a focus on quality and patient safety, you will participate in training and uphold hospital-wide indicators.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment in preparation for sterilization and record sterilization test results.
• Organize and arrange specific or routine equipment that has been sterilized to be used in the Operating Theatre.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, looseness, or other indications of damage.
• Monitor and control infection prevention measures per Infection Control Committee directions.
• Implement procedures and practices that ensure quality and safety in services, including participation in training.

Job description

• Clean equipment in preparation for sterilization and record sterilization test results
• Organize and arrange specific or routine equipment that has been sterilized to be used in carrying out actions in the Operating Theatre
• Inspect equipment for leaks, looseness, or other indications of damage
• Carry out the monitoring and control process for infection control measures in accordance with the directions of the Infection Control Committee
• Implement procedures and practices that ensure quality and safety in services, including participation in training, to support the attainment of hospital-wide indicators and related departmental/unit objectives.
• Diploma (D3)/Bachelor Degree from healthcare administration, business, or any related major
• Have minimum 1 years of work experience in a hospital
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and find solutions to enhance the patient experience.
