Job summary

WireHire is seeking a hands-on HR Operations Manager to lead end-to-end HR processes with a strong focus on compliance, payroll, and industrial relations. You will partner with leadership to build a scalable, compliant HR foundation and drive a high-performing culture.

The role requires 5–7 years in HR, including 2 years in a managerial IR/ops capacity, with deep knowledge of Indonesian labor law and experience with manual payroll in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role handling both HR operations and IR.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia’s labor law and IR practices.
• Experience handling manual payroll and HR administration in low-automation environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll, employee records, benefits, and HRIS administration.
• Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations, handling labor audits and documentation.
• Oversee industrial relations activities including disputes, bipartite/tripartite negotiations, and union/employee relations.
• Develop, implement, and improve HR policies and SOPs to support growth.
• Manage employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, performance reviews, promotions, offboarding.
• Supervise and mentor the HR operations team to ensure excellence and satisfaction.
• Be the main contact for regulatory agencies and ensure all HR obligations are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for manpower planning and budgeting.
• Manage manual and system-based payroll with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery and tools.
