Role Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role is key in driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operational excellence, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and global policies.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Development & Effectiveness

Drive and support organizational change initiatives, including structural and workforce planning.

Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.

Provide guidance on people-related decisions and support business performance initiatives.

Develop and implement employee retention strategies, including exit surveys and analysis.

Utilize HR analytics to generate actionable insights.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Support recruitment activities, including job scoping and hiring coordination.

Manage hiring approvals and compensation processes.

Oversee employee mobility, internal transfers, and offboarding activities.

Lead onboarding processes, including pre-boarding, induction, and probation reviews.

Manage work pass administration.

Performance & Employee Development

Drive performance management processes, including goal setting and review cycles.

Support employee development and career progression planning.

Address and manage underperformance where required.

Compensation, Benefits & Employee Relations

Administer annual compensation reviews and benefits programs.

Maintain employee records and support payroll processes.

Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Handle both voluntary and involuntary employee exits.

HR Operations

Support localization and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Assist with day-to-day HR operations and project coordination (e.g., training, surveys).

Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and practices.

Ensure proper handling of employee feedback and grievance processes.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience.

Good understanding of employment regulations and MOM guidelines.

Strong HR operational knowledge and people management skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
