Job summary

TMF Group in Jakarta is seeking an Associate-Tax Services to deliver external tax preparation services and ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. You will handle WHT, VAT, CIT calculations and related returns, while advising clients on tax matters.

We welcome candidates with 1–2 years of tax experience or internships, good English and Indonesian communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision within a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Taxation or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of tax-related experience (fresh grads with 3–6 months internship welcome).
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations.
• Experience in tax consulting is a plus.
• Brevet A/B/C certification is advantageous.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and communicate in English and Indonesian.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly WHT and VAT calculations.
• Prepare Billing ID for tax payments.
• Prepare Monthly WHT and VAT returns using e-SPT/e-Bukpot/e-Faktur.
• Prepare Annual CIT calculation and annual CIT return via e-SPT.
• Ensure timely payment and submission of tax reports.
• Provide tax advice to clients.
• Liaise with Tax Officers on behalf of clients.
• Undertake ad-hoc functions as required.

Associate-Tax Services is responsible to provide external clients with tax preparation services to ensure external clients' financial operations comply with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Withholding Tax ("WHT") and Value Added Tax ("VAT") calculation
• Prepare Billing ID for tax payment
• Prepare Monthly WHT and VAT Returns by using e-SPT/e-Bukpot/e-Faktur
• Prepare Annual Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") calculation
• Prepare Annual CIT Return by using e-SPT
• Ensure the accuracy and timely payment and submission of monthly and annual tax reports
• Provide tax advice to client
• Liaise with the Tax Officer on behalf of client
• Undertake ad-hoc functions and related duties as when required

Key Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor / Associate degree in Taxation/Accounting major
• Minimum have 1-2 years in-job related experiences (fresh graduate with 3-6 months internship experiences are welcome to apply)
• Have excellent knowledge about Tax Regulation in Indonesia
• Have working experience in Tax Consulting Firm will be an advantage
• Hold Brevet A/B/C Certification will be an advantage
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Able to communicate both in English and Indonesian (written and spoken)
