Job summary

Mercure Serpong Alam Sutera is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring clean, welcoming spaces for guests at our Alam Sutera property. You will supervise housekeeping standards, manage shift handovers, assist with staff scheduling, conduct room inspections and liaise with Front Office to meet guest needs.

A service-focused mindset and prior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Service focused personality is essential.
• Previous leadership experience is an asset.
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.

Reliable and engaging. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.

Job Description:

• Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift handover.
• Assist with the preparation of efficient departmental work schedules.
• Perform room allocations and room inspections to check audit standards and ensure overall cleanliness.
• Liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements.
• Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests' requests are promptly attended to.
