You will clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors, change linens, and restock amenities daily while reporting maintenance issues and coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth room turnover.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping within hotel/resort settings.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Physical ability for demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible including weekends/holidays.
• Good communication and courteous demeanor with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms and corridors to hotel standards.
• Change linens, replenish towels and amenities daily.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report damages.
• Maintain neat appearance of common areas (lobbies, corridors).

About the role

Life Hospitality Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team at our property in Sidoarjo District, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation throughout our hotel. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest experiences an immaculate and welcoming environment, directly contributing to their overall satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, bathrooms and corridors to the highest standards in accordance with hotel procedures
• Changing bed linens, replenishing towels and restocking guest amenities on a daily basis
• Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and reporting any damages or repairs needed to management
• Maintaining neat and orderly appearance of common areas, including lobbies, hallways and public facilities
• Properly handling and disposing of waste materials and recyclables according to environmental guidelines
• Operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Responding promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements
• Coordinating with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely room turnover
• Maintaining confidentiality and respect for guest privacy at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel, resort or hospitality establishment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple room cleanings efficiently
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly including weekends and public holidays
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour with guests and colleagues
• Knowledge of proper use and safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs
• Indonesian language proficiency is preferred
