• Inspecting facilities and reporting maintenance issues to management.
• Managing waste disposal and recycling according to environmental practices.
• Assisting with deep cleaning and special cleaning projects as needed.

• Supporting the team to ensure areas meet café standards before, during, and after operating hours.

About the role

Javablue Cafe Seminyak is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping professional to join our hospitality team in Badung, Bali. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and overall presentation of our café facilities. As a Housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming and well-maintained environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality and service.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising all public areas, including dining spaces, restrooms, entrances and seating areas
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Performing daily housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Restocking supplies in restrooms and public facilities, including toiletries, paper products and cleaning materials
• Inspecting facilities regularly to identify maintenance issues and reporting them promptly to management
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner
• Assisting with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as required
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour whilst representing Javablue Cafe Seminyak
• Supporting the team to ensure all areas meet our café's standards before, during and after operating hours

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or a similar cleaning role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Basic communication skills and willingness to take direction
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or evenings as needed
• Understanding of health and hygiene standards in hospitality environments
