Job summary

Marriott International is seeking a seasoned General Manager for the Semarang Marriott Hotel in Semarang, Indonesia. You will lead all aspects of operations, guest and employee satisfaction, finance, sales and revenue generation to deliver ROI for Marriott and property ownership.

Preference for pre-opening/conversion experience and fluent Bahasa Indonesia. Location is Semarang, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years' experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area.
OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years' experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business plans to maximize property customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
Lead property leadership team to deliver brand strategies and achieve financial targets.
Develop revenue strategies, partnerships, and sales initiatives in alignment with Marriott JW brand.
Create and implement talent development, succession plans, and performance coaching.
Manage brand policy compliance, quality audits, and guest experience standards.
Engage with owners and stakeholders to share performance insights and value creation.
