Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Merauke seeks a strategic General Manager to lead property operations, drive guest satisfaction, and maximize financial performance. The role covers Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Events, working with department heads to execute the brand service strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year or 4-year degree with 6–8+ years in hotel operations, including pre-opening experience in Indonesia or the wider APAC region, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Lead property operations and develop/implement the operations strategy across departments.
• Ensure service and brand initiatives are implemented and aligned with the brand strategy.
• Oversee profitability, budgets, and financial performance of the property.
• Coach and develop operations leadership to improve occupancy, rates, and expenses.
• Foster employee engagement and guest satisfaction through effective leadership and SOPs.
