Job summary

AYANA Hospitality is seeking an experienced Chief Engineering for its AYANA Komodo resort. You will lead all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure peak efficiency and guest experience, supervising a team of engineers and maintenance professionals across the property.

The role requires strong hospitality background, proven leadership, and hands-on expertise with electrical and mechanical systems, safety compliance, and energy management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• 2 years of experience as Chief Engineering in a 5-star hotel or equivalent role in a large property.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering Department to ensure efficient daily operations, preventive maintenance, and emergency responsiveness.
• Oversee annual budgeting, monitor costs, and control expenses related to maintenance, utilities, and projects.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise repair work across the property.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations, including training team members.
• Monitor and reduce energy and water consumption through operational initiatives and equipment optimization.
