Job summary

Minor Vacation Club Legian Bali seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee daily engineering operations, maintain hotel facilities, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead preventive maintenance, supervise teams, manage budgets, and support guest satisfaction across the resort.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in hospitality engineering, strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, and safety standards, plus experience with asset management and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in engineering within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Fire & Life Safety systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning, asset management, and project coordination.
• Good understanding of local government regulations, occupational health & safety standards, and resort/hotel compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department; ensure efficient maintenance and operation of facilities and systems.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, engineering projects, team performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support budget control, asset management, and guest satisfaction across the property.
• Prepare operational and maintenance reports for hotel management and corporate engineering teams.
