Job summary

AYANA Hospitality, Bali’s Largest Integrated Resort, seeks a seasoned engineering leader to drive maintenance and operations for a premium resort. You will oversee the engineering and maintenance team, craft strategies to improve efficiency, and manage budgets and CAPEX to maximize ROI while maintaining luxury guest experiences.

The role requires a strong background in hospitality engineering, a proven leadership track, and hands-on expertise in budgeting and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of solid Engineering experience in hospitality.
• Experience as Assistant Director of Engineering in a large operation.
• Experience with budgets, CAPEX, and ROI analysis.
• Indonesian language communication preferable.
• Strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of project construction would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the highest levels of quality and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.
• Manage the annual budget and capital expenditure plans for the engineering and maintenance department.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the resort's infrastructure and equipment.
• Manage all vendor contracts and relationships to ensure the highest standards of service.
• Ensure that all guest requests and issues related to engineering and maintenance are resolved quickly and efficiently.

• Experience at least 4 years solid experience in Engineering in the hospitality industry and must have experience as Assistant Director of Engineering, preferably of a large operation of more than 500 rooms and villas, residential building, multi F&B outlets, multi-pools, a wide landscaping area, and a large spa operation in a luxury resort environment.
• Eloquent in Indonesian Language communication preferable
• Strong leadership skills with an acute sense of good judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent organization skills, analytical skills, tact, strong follow-up skills and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of project construction and direct experience would be an advantage.
• Has the ability to analyse financial data and budgeting and cost calculation for an effective return on investment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. Master’s degree is desirable.
