PT Biko Indonesia is seeking a Host/Greeter for our Gading Serpong location in Tangerang, Banten. This full-time role is the first point of contact for guests, manages reservations, seats guests and ensures a smooth welcome that sets the tone for dining.

You will coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen, offer menus and recommendations, handle inquiries, maintain the host stand, process payments when needed, and present a professional image aligned with our hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Host, Greeter, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Excellent communication, warm and professional interaction with guests.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities during busy service.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and POS software.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the role

PT Biko Indonesia is seeking a welcoming and professional Host / Greeter to join our hospitality team at our Gading Serpong location in Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional first impression for our guests. As the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing reservations, and ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome that sets the tone for their dining experience. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

What you'll be doing

Greeting all guests with a warm, professional and genuine welcome upon arrival

Managing the host stand, including seating guests in accordance with restaurant capacity and table availability

Maintaining and updating the reservation book or digital booking system accurately

Coordinating with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow

Providing guests with menus and offering recommendations about our offerings

Handling guest inquiries and addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy

Managing waiting lists during peak hours and communicating estimated wait times to guests

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the host stand and entrance area

Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions as required

Assisting with special requests or arrangements to enhance guest satisfaction

Representing the brand values and maintaining a professional appearance at all times

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Host, Greeter, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact warmly and professionally with diverse guests

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, particularly during busy service periods

Proficiency with restaurant reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) software

Fluency in both Indonesian and English; additional language skills are advantageous

Ability to remain calm, composed and solution-focused under pressure

A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceptional customer service

Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

Professional appearance and strong personal hygiene standards

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues

Knowledge of dining etiquette and restaurant operations is preferred
