Job description

A Restaurant Host position in a luxury restaurant or resort environment, responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring a personalized dining experience that reflects 5-star hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet all guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest seating, and table allocation efficiently.
• Accompany guests to their tables and provide menus while ensuring a smooth and personalized dining experience.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate seating arrangements with the restaurant service team.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Service Team, and other departments to ensure excellent guest service.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate guest preferences and special occasions to the team.
• Assist in managing waiting lists during busy periods and provide guests with accurate estimated waiting times.
• Ensure the restaurant entrance, reception area, and host stand are clean, organized, and presented according to 5-star hospitality standards.
• Promote a welcoming and personalized atmosphere that reflects the resort's luxury service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Restaurant Host or similar position, preferably in a 5-star hotel/resort or luxury restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
• Strong guest service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
