Job summary

Marriott International’s Four Points by Sheraton in Indonesia seeks a Complex Steward Supervisor to lead stewards, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support banquet operations. You will ensure safety standards, proper equipment use, and uniform compliance while assisting with staff training and supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years related experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related work experience: at least 2 years.
• Supervisory experience: at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist Stewards to improve cleaning efficiency.
• Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented.
• Assist with Banquet plate-ups and provide items to cooks.
• Support banquet and buffet by transporting and stocking items; return cleaned items to proper places.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing, hand wash, pot-scrubbing, and trash compactor.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching staff.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain professional appearance; protect company assets and confidentiality.
• Deliver guest service per standards; build positive team relationships.
