Job summary

Marriott International - Four Points by Sheraton in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia seeks a Complex Steward Supervisor to lead the stewarding team and ensure smooth cleaning operations across the hotel venues.

You will supervise dishwashing, banquets, and support kitchen staff, while upholding safety standards and brand policies; prior supervisory experience is preferred. This role is on-site at our Bekasi location with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise stewards to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
• Maintain water temperature and chemical levels; document readings.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and support banquet/buffet by transporting and stocking.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with tasks; provide items as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools; inspect sanitation processes.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching staff.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team; develop positive working relationships.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
