Job summary

Gelombang is seeking a Production Operator for its Batam Plant to join the frontline of our bakery production. You will monitor workflows, conduct pre-production checks, and operate ovens, mixers, packaging, and detectors to ensure safe, high-quality products.

The role requires following SOPs and maintaining cleanliness. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience is a plus in FMCG or food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Education: SMA/SMK equivalent high school diploma.
• Experience: Fresh graduates encouraged; FMCG/food industry preferred.
• Knowledge: GMP, HACCP and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing workflows for quality, hygiene, GMP, HACCP.
• Perform pre-production checks on raw materials, dough weights, pans, fillings, and equipment.
• Operate production machinery, ovens, packaging systems, and metal detectors.
• Manage end-to-end manufacturing cycle from dough to packaging.
• Verify codes, expiration dates, labels, and packaging integrity.
• Document daily output and process indicators.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize equipment regularly.
• Collaborate with team to remove bottlenecks and improve flow.
• Provide support across Mixer, Make-Up, Oven, and Scaling as needed.
