Job summary

PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk in Batam, Riau Islands, is seeking a Production Operator to support daily bakery production. You will assist in pre-production checks, operate ovens and packaging lines, and ensure products meet GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires attention to SOPs, clean work areas, and teamwork across Mixing, Make Up, Baking and Scaling. Fresh graduates are welcome; rotating shifts and hands-on training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: SMA/SMK equivalent from any major.
• Experience: Fresh graduates encouraged; FMCG/food ops a plus.
• Knowledge: Bread manufacturing processes, GMP, HACCP, sanitation.
• Machine skills: Operate industrial ovens and factory equipment.
• SOPs & quality benchmarks: follow SOPs precisely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA aligns with GMP/HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Perform pre-production checks on raw ingredients, dough weight, trays, fillings, and molds.
• Operate and monitor ovens, packaging lines, and metal detectors.
• Oversee end-to-end production from dough to packaging.
• Verify production coding, expiration dates, labeling and visual integrity of packages.
• Document outputs and key process indicators for quality tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace.
• Collaborate with Mixing, Make Up, Baking and Scaling teams to resolve bottlenecks.
