Job summary

Prudential Syariah is seeking an experienced Underwriter to assess and underwrite new insurance applications, evaluating medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle risks.

You will coordinate with reinsurance for high-net-worth and facultative cases, log cases in the system, and deliver clear decisions to customers while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major; insurance, medical, or health background is advantageous.
• 2–3 years of experience in individual & health underwriting, preferably in insurance.
• Understanding of financial underwriting and facultative processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Coordinate with reinsurance for HNW & facultative case
• Ensure proper case logging, monitoring, and closure in the system.
• Deliver clear and accurate decisions to customers and stakeholders as regulated.
• Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support leader on providing data, information and document related with related cases

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any major. Majoring in Insurance, Medical, or Health background will be an advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Underwriting Individual & Health, preferably in the insurance company.
• Understand Financial Underwrting & Facultative process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work cross functionally and coordinate with multiple departments.
