Job summary

Prudential Syariah is seeking an experienced Underwriter to assess and underwrite new insurance applications, evaluating medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle risks.

You will coordinate with reinsurance for high-net-worth and facultative cases, log cases in the system, and deliver clear decisions to customers while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major; insurance, medical, or health background is advantageous.
• 2–3 years of experience in individual & health underwriting, preferably in insurance.
• Understanding of financial underwriting and facultative processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite new insurance applications by evaluating medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle risks.
• Coordinate with reinsurance for HNW and facultative cases.
• Ensure proper case logging, monitoring, and closure in the system.
• Deliver clear and accurate decisions to customers and stakeholders as regulated.
• Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support leadership by providing data, information, and documents related to cases.
