Job summary

Interport Group is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to oversee safety on mining construction projects. You will implement HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety inductions and investigations.

The role requires coordination with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, with willingness to work in remote mining areas on a roster-based schedule. Qualifications include a bachelor's in Engineering or OH&S and a minimum of five years in HSE coordination, plus POP/Ahli K3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or OH&S or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as HSE Coordinator in construction, preferably mining.
• Valid POP, Ahli K3 Umum/Ahli K3 Konstruksi certification.
• Strong knowledge of mining and construction safety standards.
• Experience in HIRA/JSA, toolbox meetings, safety induction, and investigations.
• Ability to develop and implement HSE plans and site programs.
• Familiar with PTW, Contractor Safety Management, and heavy equipment operations.
• Good English is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all HSE activities on mining construction projects to ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards, conducting HIRA/JSA, safety induction, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations, developing and implementing HSE plans, procedures, and site safety programs, monitoring Permit to Work (PTW), Contractor Safety Management, and heavy equipment operations, preparing regular HSE reports, and working closely with project teams and contractors to promote a strong safety culture at site under a roster-based working system in remote mining areas.

Job Description:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards for construction and mining projects.

• Conduct HIRA/JSA, safety induction, toolbox meetings, and safety training programs.
• Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and site safety programs.
• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW), Contractor Safety Management, and heavy equipment operations.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with POP, Ahli K3 Umum, and/or Ahli K3 Konstruksi requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular HSE reports and support safety performance monitoring.
• Willing to work in remote mining areas with roster-based schedule.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as HSE Coordinator in Construction, preferably in mining construction.
• Hold valid POP, Ahli K3 Umum and/or Ahli K3 Konstruksi certification.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety standards and construction safety practices.
• Experience in conducting HIRA/JSA, toolbox meetings, safety induction, and incident investigations.
• Able to develop and implement HSE plan, procedures, and site safety programs.
• Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW), Contractor Safety Management, and Heavy Equipment Operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with project teams and contractors.
• Willing to work in remote mining areas with roster schedule will follow the company regulation
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage
