Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines and ongoing professional development.
• At least 5 years in Health & Safety/HSE, preferably in coal mining.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Active POP certification is mandatory.
• Mining safety certifications like AK3 Umum or SMKP Auditor are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections, safety patrols, toolbox talks, and inductions.
• Lead HSE risk assessments, PTW, JSA, and critical control management.
• Investigate incidents including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and safety statistics.
• Ensure compliance across pit, roads, equipment, workshop, and ROM.

Job description

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Occupational Health & Safety (K3), Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or other relevant disciplines.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Health & Safety/HSE, preferably within the coal mining industry, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Mandatory to hold an active POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification.

AK3 Umum, SMKP Auditor, or other relevant mining safety certifications will be an advantage.

Strong understanding of SMKP Minerba, K3 Mining regulations, Good Mining Practice, and other applicable Indonesian mining regulations.

Experienced in implementing and monitoring HIRADC/IBPR, JSA, Risk Assessment, Permit to Work (PTW), and critical control management.

Experienced in conducting safety inspections, safety patrols, toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and HSE training.

Capable of conducting incident and accident investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and developing corrective and preventive actions.

Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and emergency preparedness in mining operations.

Able to supervise Health & Safety compliance across operational areas, including pit, hauling roads, heavy equipment, workshop, ROM, and other mining facilities.

Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.

Proficient in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, incident statistics, and safety performance reports.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Willing to be based at the mining site in South Kalimantan.
