Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• PNG CoC or eligible to obtain one.
• 10+ years underground mining experience, 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for underground mining operations, including development, production, ground support, ventilation, and services.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Geology to develop short- and long-term mine plans.
• Ensure compliance with mining legislation and safety management systems.
• Manage budgets, costs, and capital expenditure planning.
• Oversee contractor performance to meet productivity and safety targets.
• Mentor and develop Superintendents, Supervisors, Engineers, and site personnel.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve site performance goals.
