• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of underground mining experience with leadership roles.
• CoC certification or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for underground mining operations including development, production, ground support, ventilation, and services.
• Coordinate with Technical Services and Geology to align short- and long-term mine plans with targets.
• Champion safety leadership and ensure compliance with mining legislation and Mine Safety Management System.
• Manage departmental budgets, costs, capex planning, and continuous cost optimization.
• Oversee contractor performance to meet productivity targets and safety requirements.
• Mentor and develop Mining Superintendents, Shift Bosses, Supervisors, and engineers.
