Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Head of Student Housing to lead a large university residential community in Bekasi Region. This role requires hands-on leadership, overseeing thousands of students, housing operations, engagement programs, and move-in/move-out coordination.

You will manage student housing staff, ensure safety protocols and compliance, and collaborate with Security, Facilities and Student Affairs to deliver high-quality services across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing services for a large student population and events.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily student housing operations serving thousands of residents.

• Handle student inquiries, complaints, incidents, and escalations.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with proven experience managing services and operations for thousands of students, including student engagement programs, complaint handling, and large-scale move-in and move-out activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily student housing operations serving thousands of residents.
• Plan and manage semester-based student move-in and move-out, including room allocation, check-in/out, documentation, and cross-unit coordination.
• Establish an effective system for handling student inquiries, complaints, incidents, and escalations.
• Develop student engagement programs, community events, orientation activities, and residential campaigns.
• Ensure consistent implementation of housing regulations, student conduct standards, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Lead and monitor student housing staff to ensure responsive and professional services.
• Coordinate with Security, Facilities, Housekeeping, Student Affairs, Finance, Health Services, and other relevant units.
• Monitor occupancy, complaints, incidents, service performance, and student satisfaction.
• Develop and continuously improve student housing policies, SOPs, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, Management, International Relation or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing services for a large student population, including organizing student events, activities, and engagement programs.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume operations and serve a large student population.
• Strong leadership, event management, complaint handling, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proficient in English is a must.
• Willing to work outside regular hours when required, particularly during move‑in, move‑out, major events, or emergencies.
