Job summary

JAC Recruitment represents a leading international tobacco manufacturing company seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead HR and people management at a key manufacturing site. The role will partner closely with the Board of Directors, driving employee engagement, talent development, and organisational effectiveness to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end HR functions, labour relations with unions, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in HR leadership roles.
At least 5 years in a senior HR management position.
Experience managing a workforce of 900+ employees.
Experience in multinational manufacturing, production, or FMCG/industrial contexts.

Responsibilities

Partner with the General Manager and line managers to implement company values, leadership principles, and performance culture.
Lead end-to-end HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations.
Oversee industrial relations and ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law and labour agreements.
Drive People Development and Succession Planning through structured programmes and People Reviews.
Manage payroll and HR administration with accuracy, efficiency, and full legal compliance; act as adviser on organisation development and change initiatives.
