Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Engineering or related field required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of IT solution delivery, technology transformation, or related roles.
• Strong experience in the insurance industry, Life and/or General Insurance.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end technology implementation or transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of core insurance processes (policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, servicing).
• Experience with core insurance systems / PAS and enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with system integration, APIs, data flows, and architecture.
• Experience managing vendors, partners, cross-functional teams, budgets, timelines and risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with InsureMO or similar platforms is highly preferred.

As part of this transformation, they are looking for a senior technology leader to drive the delivery and continuous improvement of core technology solutions supporting their insurance business.

About the Role

The Head of Core Solution Delivery will lead the end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of core technology solutions supporting Life and General Insurance businesses. The role will act as a key bridge between business and technology, ensuring business priorities are translated into effective, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of core solutions, from business requirements and solution design through implementation, testing, and stabilization.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Drive solution delivery across key insurance processes, including policy administration, new business, underwriting, claims, customer servicing, and related operations.
• Ensure solutions are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality, and risk parameters.
• Manage dependencies across business, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, digitalization, and technology-enabled efficiency.
• Oversee system integration and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and fit for business needs.
• Establish strong governance around solution delivery, prioritization, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
• Lead, coach, and develop the solution delivery team to build strong execution capabilities and business partnership.
• Ensure delivered solutions generate measurable business value, including efficiency, productivity, customer experience, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT solution delivery, technology transformation, application management, or related technology roles.
• Strong experience within the insurance industry, preferably covering both Life and/or General Insurance.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end technology implementation or transformation projects, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation and stabilization.
• Strong understanding of core insurance processes, including policy administration, new business, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer servicing.
• Experience with core insurance systems / Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and enterprise application environments.
• Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, and technology architecture.
• Proven experience managing vendors, technology partners, cross-functional teams, project dependencies, budgets, timelines, and delivery risks.
• Strong track record of partnering with senior business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience driving digital transformation, automation, process improvement, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Strong leadership experience, including the ability to lead, coach, and develop technology teams.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, IT governance, project management, and solution delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with InsureMO or other core insurance technology platforms is highly preferred.
