Job summary

PT. Happy Country Development (Rentaved) in Bali seeks a Head of Construction to lead strategy and delivery across hospitality developments, from planning and procurement through execution and handover.

You will manage budgets, schedules and quality, lead multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with international partners to shape standards and processes for future projects. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring 10+ years in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of construction experience, with senior leadership or development exposure.
• Hospitality project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement and project controls.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, variations and drive efficiency.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Excellent English communication with international stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Head of Construction

A Head of Construction is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing construction strategy, delivery and performance across Rentaved’s hospitality developments. The role leads the construction function from planning and procurement through execution, completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, cost and schedule.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of construction experience, with a proven track record in senior construction, project management or development roles.
• Hospitality Experience: Strong experience in hotel, resort, luxury residential or other high-end hospitality developments is highly preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, architectural and MEP coordination, procurement, contracts and project controls.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, evaluate costs, control variations and drive cost efficiency.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants across complex development projects.
• Project Management: Strong knowledge of project scheduling, risk management, reporting and construction management systems.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with international and local stakeholders.
