Job summary

PT. HAPPY COUNTRY DEVELOPMENT is seeking a senior Construction Lead for a high-end hotel project in Bali. You will oversee all remaining works, ensure on-time handover, and manage complex coordination among contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor in related fields, 10 years in senior construction roles, and hospitality project experience in a fast-moving environment. Bali presence is mandatory and full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• 10 years of construction experience in senior roles, with a proven track record in substantial building projects.
• Hospitality experience (hotel, resort, luxury residential or other high-end developments) is highly preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies, architectural and MEP coordination, procurement and scheduling.
• Commercial acumen in managing budgets, evaluating costs and driving cost efficiency.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants, and multiple internal functions.
• Project recovery experience with a track record of successfully managing delayed projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with international and local stakeholders.
• Full-time presence in Bali is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead remaining construction activities including MEP, facade/windows, interiors/finishes, rooftop and testing/commissioning to ensure timely completion and handover.
• Deliver project on scope, budget, timeline and quality with the target opening in June 2027.

• Maintain quality, safety and compliance with regulations, permits and company standards.
• Identify construction risks, resolve issues and implement solutions to bring delayed projects back on schedule.
• Collaborate with owner/developer, senior management, designers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders for decision-making.

Job description

Take full ownership of a fast-track hotel project in Bali, leading the remaining construction works through completion, testing and commissioning and handover to deliver a fully operational hotel by June 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Construction Activities Oversee the remaining works (MEP, facade/windows, walls, interiors/finishes, rooftop, external works, FFnE and testing and commissioning) and ensure timely completion and handover.
• Deliver Projects Ensure the project is completed on scope, budget, timeline and quality standards, with target opening in June 2027.
• Manage Costs and Commercial Performance Oversee budgets, BOQ, cost planning, forecasting and variations with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Lead Teams and Contractors Manage multiple contractors, consultants and internal functions simultaneously.
• Ensure Quality, Safety and Compliance Maintain quality, safety and compliance with regulations, permits and company standards.
• Solve Problems and Manage Risks Identify construction risks, resolve issues and implement solutions. Drive delayed projects back on schedule.
• Work with Stakeholders Collaborate with owner/developer, senior management, designers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to drive effective decision-making.
