Job summary

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the hotel's housekeeping department, ensuring rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, coordinate with Front Office for room status, and uphold safety, hygiene, and budget controls while delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping supervisory/managerial experience in a hotel.
• Experience in a full-service, upscale or international hotel helps.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS systems.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status, arrivals, departures, VIPs, and requests.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff.
• Maintain inventory, costs, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
