Job summary

The Green Room Seminyak is seeking a dedicated Waiter to join our hospitality team in Kuta, Bali. This full-time, on-site role places you at the heart of delivering memorable dining experiences and outstanding service to our guests.

As a Waiter, you will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely, accurate service while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Fluency in English is preferred, with flexibility to work varied shifts in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as waiting staff in a restaurant, café, or hospitality establishment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods while carrying trays and attending to multiple tables.
• Attention to detail when taking and fulfilling orders accurately.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service practices and table etiquette.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at appropriate tables.
• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings.
• Taking accurate food and drink orders and communicating them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serving food and beverages in a professional and timely manner, ensuring correct items are delivered to the correct guests.
• Attending to guest needs throughout their dining experience, including refilling glasses and clearing plates.
• Maintaining awareness of table status and ensuring smooth transitions between courses.
• Processing payments and handling transactions at the end of the meal with accuracy and courtesy.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow waiters to ensure seamless service.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
