Responsibilities

• Providing a warm welcome and seating guests at appropriate tables.
• Accurately recording food and drink orders, often using POS systems or order slips.
• Delivering orders to the correct tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Answering questions, offering recommendations, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
• Processing payments, including cash and card transactions, and providing change when necessary.
• Clearing tables, resetting tables, and ensuring the dining area is tidy and inviting.
• Relay orders and any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
• Suggesting appetizers, desserts, or drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Working as a team with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
