Job summary

PT Magic Garden Cafe in Bali is seeking a friendly waiter/waitress to join our team. You will greet guests, explain menus, take orders, and ensure accurate service from arrival to departure, delivering a polished dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in hospitality, strong English communication, neat appearance, and the ability to work quickly in a busy environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school/vocational school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
• Master the basics of food and beverage service.
• Ability to use a POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.
• Able to work in a team or individually.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Flexible working hours (willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays).
• Able to communicate well in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present the menu to guests and explain specials, recommendations, or current promotions.
• Provide information about food and beverages, including ingredients, flavors, and potential allergies.
• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Input orders into the POS system and communicate them to the kitchen/bar according to SOP.
• Serve guests' orders in the correct order and according to service standards.
• Ensure the appearance and quality of food/beverages before serving.
• Check and ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverages, and service.
• Respond to and follow up on complaints quickly and politely.
• Create bills and process payments.
