Job summary

Sounds of Sun in Bali is seeking an on-site Salon Receptionist for a full-time role. You will be the friendly first point of contact, greeting guests, managing check-ins, and supporting daily salon operations to ensure a high standard of customer service.

You will schedule appointments, handle inquiries, process payments, maintain client records, and assist with promotions. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. This position is based on-site in Bali.

Qualifications

• Experience in a salon/hospitality reception environment.
• Excellent communication with a friendly, professional demeanour.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with booking systems and basic computer skills.
• Cash handling experience and ability to process payments accurately.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are desirable.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and manage check-in efficiently.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using our booking system.
• Answer telephone enquiries and respond to emails professionally.
• Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain detailed client records and preferences.
• Coordinate with salon staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Restock reception supplies and keep the area clean and organised.
• Assist with promotions and communicate special offers to clients.
• Handle guest complaints with empathy and find appropriate solutions.
• Support the sales of retail products and salon services when appropriate.
